Origin
A registered three-way Sarracenia hybrid created by Travis Wyman: S. 'Reptilian Rose' × S. flava var. rubricorpora × S. leucophylla. Selected and grown out by Rob Co (the Pitcher Plant Project). Officially registered recently (CPN Vol 51 No 2, p109-123).
Standout traits
- Spiky 'thorn'-shaped lid morphology under specific (unknown) environmental conditions.
- Limited circulation — Mike pursued the clone "for many years" before securing a tiny division ~mid-2021.
Cultivation notes
Mike's division had tripled in size by mid-2023 but remained small. The thorn-character trigger conditions have not yet been characterized in Mike's hands.
