- Type
- single clone rob co source
Origin
Acquired by Mike Wang from Rob Co (Pitcher Plant Project) in 2013. Pre-Rob-Co provenance not stated in this thread. Mike's hybrid-origin hypothesis: Carolina cuprea × var. flava (or selfed cuprea).
Standout traits
- Heavy / dense venation — diagnostic.
- Killer-like dark red throat under outdoor culture.
- Phenotypic plasticity — Rob Co's greenhouse vs Mike's outdoor look quite different.

Standout traits
- Intense dark-red throat — under outdoor conditions resembles flava 'Killer' (Mike, post #1, 2013)
- Heavy / dense venation — the diagnostic trait
- Looks completely different under different growing conditions — Rob Co greenhouse vs Mike's outdoor
Cultivation
Phenotype is highly environment-dependent — Rob Co's greenhouse expression differs markedly from Mike's outdoor expression. When acquiring this clone from a different grower, expect a multi-season acclimation period before its 'true' look settles into your conditions.

Naming
"Heavy veins" — Mike's working label describing the dense venation pattern. Not a registered cultivar.
